Senator Malcolm Roberts is a fearless voice for everyday Australians in the Senate — a straight-talking engineer, former underground coal miner, and unapologetic defender of freedom, sovereignty, and common sense.
Born in 1955 in Disergarh, India, to a Welsh father and Australian mother, Malcolm grew up in the rugged bush of Central Queensland. He earned a First-Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Queensland and later an MBA from the University of Chicago. His hands-on career started at the coalface — literally — working as an underground miner before rising through the ranks to manage and turn around underground coal mines, processing plants, and major export facilities across Australia, America, and Canada.
A data-driven problem solver who demands evidence over ideology, Malcolm entered politics to fight back against government overreach, economic mismanagement, and the erosion of Australian sovereignty. First elected to the Senate for Queensland in 2016 (and re-elected in 2019 and 2025) as a member of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, he has become one of Parliament’s most consistent and courageous disruptors.
He is best known for his relentless scrutiny of climate policies — exposing what he calls the lack of empirical evidence behind net-zero agendas and their devastating impact on energy costs, jobs, and Australia’s competitive edge. But his fight runs deeper: restoring constitutional accountability, slashing cost-of-living pressures, securing borders, rebuilding Australia’s defence and manufacturing base, and putting Australia First against globalist influences from the UN, WEF, and unelected bureaucracies.
Malcolm Roberts doesn’t play the Canberra game. He speaks plainly, digs into the data, and stands firm for the forgotten Australians — miners, farmers, small business owners, and working families who feel abandoned by the major parties. A proud Queenslander, family man, and relentless truth-seeker, he brings real-world experience and unyielding conviction to every debate.

“It’s time to foster hope by having the courage to be seen.”
Unlike traditional honeybees, Australia’s Blue Banded Bee doesn’t live in a hive or follow a queen, yet it still pollinates flowers by vibrating above them to release their pollen. This unique behavior reflects its desire to contribute to society while remaining a free-thinking individual.
